The Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists - Ontario Branch: Leadership Development Webinar Series is comprised of five sessions, which include: - Learning to Lead: In this webinar, participants will focus on the leadership of teams and will learn how to create meaning for themselves and their followers within the organization. - Transformational Leadership: In this webinar, participants will gain a better understanding of what it is that the best leaders do during both good times and troubling times, and what leadership best practices and behaviours look like. - Conflict Resolution: In this webinar, participants will brainstorm costs of having challenging conversations in the face of conflict, as well as the costs of avoiding them. Often the tension we experience about whether to have the conversation or not leaves us in a cycle of indecision, which leads us either to no action or to unskillful action. - Developing Your Leadership Presence: In this webinar, participants will learn to present themselves and their ideas with authenticity, authority and inspiration by integrating the four core areas of their unique personal communication style: voice, body, mind and emotion. They will learn how to build and maintain trust, social capital, and influence by generating connection and engagement in every interaction by tapping into and effectively articulating their most important personal and organizational values. - Managerial Decision Making: In this webinar, participants will learn to utilize different prescriptions for positive decision-making practices in the future based on learnings from other successful managers and business leaders' decision making. They will discuss and build a framework for both strategic and tactical problem-solving – an asset for any managers faced with making important decisions about their businesses – and understand the impact of their decisions across the organization.
